Whenever you think it starts, what's life like for those who achieve old age?

You might think that when you're old you might be worrying about ill health or how to pay the bills. Older people do think about these things but they also want a chance to live well and make the most of life just like everybody else.

Independent Age supports older people in the UK and Ireland to stay in their own homes. Our older people are on low incomes and have put a lot into their communities over their lifetimes, by volunteering and helping others.

We owe them one.

We'd like to help them now by making their everyday lives easier. We give them a regular small income. Our network of volunteers visits them, so we know them all. We can help if they need an emergency domestic repair or new equipment to keep them independent.

We're here for them, for life. If they need a repair. New specs. Or a chance to make new friends. Because small things can make a big difference.
